A Keto version of Bacon Macaroni & Cheese has been a blessing to my life. Delicious side dishes like this that you always see on thanksgiving and can’t help to add them to your plate.
Living on the ketogenic diet, your keto senses would initially say two things. One “I’m going break keto and eat macaroni just for today and get back on track tomorrow.” Two “I can’t break my ketosis, so I’m just going to have to pass.” I’ve chosen both options before and more of the first option, if I’m being honest.
It doesn’t have to be like that anymore with this recipe! I found a great-tasting keto elbow pasta that is non-GMO, loaded with fiber, and only seven net carbs per serving. It’s fantastic, and I can’t stop making macaroni side dishes for every little event.
The keto elbow pasta doesn’t taste any different than regular elbow pasta. That’s great, especially if you have children who can be picky.
Usually, after eating a regular bowl of macaroni and cheese, I would feel bloated and constipated. Those days are over with this keto bacon macaroni & cheese recipe.
Be mindful of your portion control when eating keto alternative recipes. That’s a mistake I’ve in the past a few times because my recipes are that good. All jokes aside, I know you’ll love this recipe a lot.

Keto Oven Baked 3 Cheese Bacon Macaroni
Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Keto Macaroni Pasta
Cheeses
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Grated Smoked Gouda Cheese
Wet Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sour Cream
- 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
Dry Ingredient Seasonings
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
Meats
- 3 Strips Uncured Bacon
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 350° F
- Place keto macaroni into a pot and set to boil for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove keto macaroni from boil and strain. Set it aside for cooling.
- Thoroughly cook your uncured bacon and set it aside.
- Add your wet ingredients to a separate pot and set to medium-low heat.
- Add your cheeses to the same pot and stir until melted.
- Add your dry ingredient seasoning to the same pot and stir.
- Make sure to taste the sauce for perfection.
- Add strained keto macaroni into the cheese sauce and mix.
- Ready to serve as is. Top with Uncured Bacon Bits.

Oven-Baked Macaroni
- Add your keto macaroni & cheese into a mini skillet. Top with more cheese.
- Place the skillet in the 350° F Oven and cook for 6-7 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Top with Uncured Bacon Bits and serve.
