Keto Buffalo-style Hot wings are the perfect comfort food. Low carb and great tasting, there’s no doubt about that. They’re great for entertainment. Great for the holidays with the family. Most satisfying after a long day of work.

Buffalo-style hot wings are great for keto. The flavor is always there, packed with protein very low carb. There are many ways to break ketosis while enjoying wings.

The main culprit is your choice of sauces. Honorable mentions include the oil that your wings were cooked in. Also, if your wings were cooked in a batter or coating not suitable for keto. My keto buffalo-style hot wings use neither ingredients when prepared.

When it came to finding a good wing restaurant on the go, It would always be difficult for me. One place wouldn’t batter their wings but fry in canola or soybean oil. Those oils are refined and contain trans fats that can lead to obesity.

I would also have different sauces that had a sweet taste when I thought I ordered a savory sauce. Only to find out later those sauces contained traces of corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup.

I’ve chosen healthier fats to choose from, like avocado oil, for this recipe. I even included the sauce recipe, but you can pick any favorite Hot sauce.

I’m not a blue cheese guy. I’m more of a buttermilk ranch dressing guy. For my ranch lovers who love to dip wings in the creamy dressing. Enjoy and have a wonderful day!

Buffalo Hot Sauce

Butter Milk Ranch Dressing (From Scratch)

Instructions
 

Oven Fried Chicken

  • Preheat Oven to 400°F.
  • Wash & Dry chicken wings. Place in bowl.
  • In the same bowl crack an egg and mix with wings well.
  • Season with salt & pepper.
  • Place wings on a cooling rack under a baking tray to collect drippings while cooking.
  • Gently coat chicken wings with cooking spay.
  • Place into oven. Cook for 30 minutes, flipping wings at 15 minutes.
  • Remove wings carefully and let cool for 5 minutes.

Deep Fried Chicken Wings

  • Set Deep Fryer to 350°F.
  • In a pot, add your butter and Hot Sauce. Set to a low simmer.
  • Once Simmering, add the rest of your seasonings and stir.
  • Brush sauce onto wings, or in a separate bowl toss to coat evenly.
  • Dip into some ranch dressing, or enjoy by itself!

Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

  • Add all ingredient into bowl and mix well.
  • Add more butter milk to control consistency.
