When I took my very first bite of the waffle, my soul left my body for 3 seconds, and I didn’t know If I would come back. Thankfully I did come back, lol, but then I took a bite of the keto fried chicken, and I couldn’t even remember my last name.
I was shocked how good this keto chicken & waffles recipe came out. This recipe is unique because it’s so good and easy to make. It’s also healthy to eat & assists you to lose weight in your keto lifestyle. That is what makes this recipe special. Ingredients
Waffle/Pancake Batter
- 1 cup Almond Flour
- 4 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Butter Milk
- 2 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Monk Fruit Sweetener
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- Olive Oil Spray
Keto Fried Chicken
- Chicken
- 1 cup Crushed Pork Rinds
- 1/4 cup Almond Flour
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp Buttermilk
Deep Frying Keto Cooking Oil
- 1 Gallon Avocado Oil Olive Oil & Lard (Optional)
Keto Maple Syrup
- 3 tbsp Keto maple syrup
Instructions
Deep-Fried Keto Chicken
- Preheat Deep Fryer to 325° F
- Wash and dry chicken season with salt and pepper
- Whisk Egg with Buttermilk & Hot Sauce
- Pour your Egg Mixture into a bowl with your chicken and mix. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Add crushed pork rinds & Almond Flour and your dry seasonings In a food processor or a breading station.
- Blend seasoned keto breading until even consistency—place in a Zip Lock or Breading Bowl.
- Place your chicken into keto breading mix & shake well. Remove excess breading and place on a cooling rack to prepare for frying.
- Once all chicken is fully breaded, fry chicken for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown in your deep fryer at 325° F
Air Fried Chicken
- Air Fry chicken for 12 minutes at 375° F or until golden brown.
Belgian Waffle
- Preheat Waffle Maker to your desired temperature for crispness.
- Crack four eggs and add your buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract into a bowl.
- Whisk together thoroughly.
- Add your dry ingredients into the same bowl and whisk.
- Add more water if the waffle/pancake batter is too thick.
- Spray your waffle maker with olive oil spray.
- Carefully Add your waffle/pancake batter into waffle maker and cook for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Plate your waffle, along with chicken, serve with keto maple syrup.
