Keto Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich
Equipment
Ingredients
- 4 oz Chicken Thigh Chicken Breast can be used as well
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Buttermilk
- 1/3 Cup Hot Sauce
- 2 Keto Buns
- 1 Pickle Slices
Dry Ingredients
- 3 oz Pork Rinds
- 1 tbsp Almond Flour
- 1/2 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon
- 1 tsp Brown Erythritol & Monk Fruit Sweetener
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
Spicy Mayo Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp Mayonaise
- 1/3 tbsp Hotsauce
- 1/4 tsp Distilled White Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1/3 tsp Paprika
- 1/3 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Thoroughly wash and dry your cut of chicken.
- In a bowl crack open two eggs and whisk together.
- Keep whisking and slowly add your buttermilk & Hot Sauce.
- Place your chicken in the mixture and coat thoroughly. Place in fridge for 10 minutes, while you gather your dry ingredients.
- In a Food Processor add your dry ingredients and blend. Place your keto breading in a bag or container to coat the chicken when time.
- In your keto breading station, place chicken from the egg mixture to the dry mixture, then place on baking rack.
- Repeat until all is breaded and on the rack. Then place into over for 35-40 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking prepare you spicy mayonnaise by mixing all the ingredients together.
- 3 minutes before the chicken is done toast your buns.
- Remove Chicken from oven and allow it to cool down for 5 minutes.
- Assemble & Top your Keto Sandwich and Enjoy!
