  • Preheat Cast Iron Skillet to Medium-High.
  • Preheat your large pot to medium-low.
  • Wash & dry your ribs.
  • Use olive oil and garlic powder to season your ribs.
  • Chop your garlic to a fine mince set aside.
  • On a medium-hot skillet, sear all sides of your ribs.
  • In your large pot, add 1 tsp of olive oil and cook your minced garlic for one minute.
  • Add all of your sweet and spicy ingredients into the large pot and stir thoroughly.
  • Place your seared ribs from the skillet into the large pot.
  • Make sure there is enough water throughout your sauce to cook slowly. If it's too thick add more water.
  • Cook your ribs on medium-low for two hours, flipping the ribs every hour until tender.
  • Use a knife or fork to check for tenderness & taste sauce for richness.
  • Plate, garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve however you please.
  • Enjoy!
