Sweet and Spicy Sauce Ingredients
Preheat Cast Iron Skillet to Medium-High.
Preheat your large pot to medium-low.
Wash & dry your ribs.
Use olive oil and garlic powder to season your ribs.
Chop your garlic to a fine mince set aside.
On a medium-hot skillet, sear all sides of your ribs.
In your large pot, add 1 tsp of olive oil and cook your minced garlic for one minute.
Add all of your sweet and spicy ingredients into the large pot and stir thoroughly.
Place your seared ribs from the skillet into the large pot.
Make sure there is enough water throughout your sauce to cook slowly. If it's too thick add more water.
Cook your ribs on medium-low for two hours, flipping the ribs every hour until tender.
Use a knife or fork to check for tenderness & taste sauce for richness.
Plate, garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve however you please.
